100% of the net dollars raised by candidates will go to their charities.

The treatment of donations depends on several factors including charity and mode of donation.  Please consult with your tax professional for more details.

Raise Tampa Bay is NOT a nonprofit, so unfortunately ticket sales are not tax deductible.

Donations are made out to Raise Tampa Bay LLC and 100% of the net dollars raised by candidates will go to their charities.

A selection committee comprised of founder and organizers will select the top 24 candidates to compete.  Selection decisions consider ability of candidate to host fundraisers, willingness of candidate to participate, availability of candidate, prior accomplishments, and other factors.

Candidate applications are accepted beginning November 1, 2021, and end December 5, 2021.  Candidate selection is announced. December 15, 2021

The fundraising competition begins January 1, 2022, and ends March 31, 2022.  Winners are announced at the annual gala April 16, 2022.

The annual gala will take place April 16, 2022. You can expect a lot of fun and crazy shenanigans from our candidates at the annual gala!  Event winner and special awards winners will be announced at gala. Dress for success and come and have fun with our winner, candidates, and their friends and families.
